I was trying out bulgur wheat for the first time, and I decided to try to make it sweet, like my oatmeal. I decided to try a slim vanilla soy milk, but you can really use any type of soy milk/milk that you would like. Ingredients:
2/3 cup bulgar wheat |
1 1/3 cups soymilk |
cinnamon (to taste) |
sugar (to taste) or sugar substitute (to taste) |
Directions:
1. Put soy milk into pot. Heat until boiling. 2. Once boiling add bulgur wheat, cover and reduce temperature to low. Let simmer for 15 minutes, or until liquid is almost absorbed. 3. Add sugar and cinnamon to taste. 4. serve. |
