This is one of my favourite cake fillings for spice cakes and especially Red Velvet cake. I was inspired after making the filling for these cookies: Banana Filled Peanut Butter Cookies. Read more . Will generously fill a three-layer 9 cake. Ingredients:
8 oz cream cheese |
1 cup powdered sugar |
2 medium, over-ripe bananas, pureed |
1 tsp lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth, add bananas and lemon juice and beat well.
2. Store in refrigerator.
