This recipe can be prepared in 45 minutes or less. Ingredients:
2 chilled firm-ripe california avocados |
1 1/2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice |
3/4 cup whole milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/2 cup well-chilled heavy cream |
Directions:
1. Halve and pit avocados and scoop flesh into a food processor. Add lemon juice, milk, sugar, and a pinch salt and puree until completely smooth. In a bowl beat cream until it just holds stiff peaks. Fold avocado mixture into whipped cream gently but thoroughly. |
