This is my original sweet and tangy BBQ sauce which ends with a little kick from the Vietnamese Chili Garlic Sauce. I created this to go along with the pulled pork I braised. Enjoy! Ingredients:
1/3 cup cider vinegar |
3/4 cup ketchup |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1 teaspoon liquid smoke |
1 teaspoon chili-garlic sauce |
1 teaspoon cumin |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Measure all the ingredients into a small saucepan. Heat over a low heat until the sugar is dissolved and the sauce begins to bubble slightly, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and cool completely before refrigerating. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. |
