This comes from a magazine sent out by the Children's Diabetes Foundation at Denver. 1/4 cup = 5 grams carbohydrates
Ingredients:
1 cup no-sugar-added nonfat vanilla yogurt (8 oz.)
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
apple, cored and sliced (optional)
pear, cored and sliced (optional)
vanilla wafer (optional)
Directions:
1. Mix all ingredients.
2. Serve as dip with apple or pear slices or vanilla wafers.
