Sweet And Spicy Chicken Wings |

sticky, sweet, spicy, chicken wings, great for dinner, or as an appetizer. Awesome to take to a pot luck Ingredients:
40 chicken wing pieces |
4 tbsp soya sauce |
2 tsp worsteshire sauce |
2 tsp vegetable oil |
1 tsp powdered ginger |
1 tsp powdered garlic |
1 tsp cayenne pepper (more or less to taste) |
hot sauce to taste |
3/4 cup white sugar |
4 tbsp water |
Directions:
1. Place chicken wings on lightly greased cookie sheet 2. Bake at 365 for 20 minutes, turn wings over and continue baking for another 20 minutes 3. Mix together soya sauce, worsteshire sauce, oil, ginger, garlic, cayenne pepper, and hot sauce in small bowl, set aside 4. In a heavy bottomed sauce pan, dump the sugar, sprinkle the water around the sugar. there should be an undisturbed pile of sugar in the pan, do not stir 5. Heat sugar/water over medium heat, watch it carefully, when it turns the colour of caramel take it off the heat. you must watch, it colours quickly and will burn easily 6. Take caramelized sugar off the heat and mix in the soya mixture, it will sputter, so be careful 7. Toss sauce with hot cooked wings 8. Enjoy |
