SWEET AND SOUR ZUCCHINI DATED 1961 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Bates Estate in Heath, Texas in 1985. Ingredients:
1/4 cup red wine vinegar |
1/3 cup cider vinegar |
1/6 cup salad oil |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/4 teaspoon pepper |
1/4 cup chopped green pepper |
1/4 cup chopped celery |
1/2 small white onion minced |
6 small zucchini thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Mix all together and chill 6 hours or overnight stirring occasionally. 2. Drain before serving. |
