An easy, tasty sweet and sour sauce that we use for ground beef meatballs. It works well with farmer sausage or ribs too but our favourite is with meatballs. Ingredients:
2 lbs meatballs, made your favourite way from 2 lbs. ground beef |
3/4 cup white sugar |
3 tablespoons flour |
1/4 cup vinegar |
2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 cups cold water |
1/4-1/2 cup ketchup |
Directions:
1. mix together sugar, flour, vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce, adding water a little bit at a time 'til completely mixed together. Add to browned meatballs, place in slow cooker and cook on medium for about 3 hours or as desired. |
