Yet another meatloaf recipe. This is one my family actually requests. May also be prepared in individual muffin-size loaves. Top each muffin with a spoonful of sauce and bake at 400 degrees for 25 to 35 minutes. Ingredients:
2 cups rolled oats |
1 onion, chopped fine |
2 eggs, slightly beaten |
2 lbs ground meat |
1 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
1/2 teaspoon pepper |
3/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup brown sugar |
1/3 cup ketchup |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Butter loaf pan. 3. Combine all the meat loaf ingredients in a large bowl. 4. Pat into the loaf pan. 5. Combine all of the sweet and sour sauce ingredients in a bowl and mix well. 6. Pour sweet and sour sauce over meat loaf. 7. Bake for 1 hour. |
