I use to make these meatballs for special occassions but my family loves them so much I make them regularly. Ingredients:
2 lbs hamburger meat |
1 jar chili sauce (not powder) |
1 small jar grape jelly (6 to 8 oz) |
1 small can condensed sweetened milk |
saltine crackers - crushed (optional) |
Directions:
1. Mix hamburger meat, crackers and condensed milk together. Prepare meatballs and brown in skillet. Place cooked meatballs in a baking dish or a crock-pot. 2. In medium size pot, combine the chili sauce and grape jelly. Heat until boiling. Pour over meatballs. 3. If using a baking dish, bake in 350^F oven for 10 minutes or in a crock-pot on low setting for 30 minutes to 1 hour. |
