My daughers love this one - it's always a birthday party request. Ingredients:
meatballs |
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 c plain breadcrumbs |
1/4 c milk |
2 t minced onion |
1/2 tsp salt |
1 tsp worcestershire sauce |
1 egg |
sauce |
1/2 c brown sugar, packed |
1t cornstarch |
1 can (14 oz ) pineapple, drained (save the juice) |
1/3 c cider vinegar |
2t soy sauce |
1 smal green pepper, julienned |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 2. Mix meatball ingredients, and form into 1 balls 3. Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake 20-25 minutes 4. Place in a slow cooker on low setting 5. In a saucepan, heat vinegar, pineapple juice, soy sauce & brown sugar 6. Add cornstarch and bring to a boil. 7. Pour over meatballs 8. Stir in pineapple chunks and green pepper. 9. Keeps well in a slow cooker for several hours |
