A great dish. Make small meatballs for appetizers. Make larger meatballs and serve over rice or noodles. Delicious. Ingredients:
1 -2 lb ground beef |
1 egg |
2 tablespoons breadcrumbs |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 dash pepper |
1/4 cup chopped onion |
12 ounces chili sauce |
10 ounces grape jelly |
3 tablespoons lemon juice |
Directions:
1. Combine meat, egg, bread crumbs, seasonings and onion. Make small meatballs. 2. Heat chili sauce, jelly, and lemon juice in a heavy skillet until blended. Add meatballs, cover and simmer 30 minutes. Uncover and cook 15 minutes longer , stirring frequently. |
