ground beef recipe. Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1/4 cup milk |
1/2 cup dry breadcrumbs |
2 tablespoons onions, finely chopped |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
1/2 teaspoon worcestershire sauce |
1 lb ground beef |
1/2 cup brown sugar, packed |
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 (20 ounce) can pineapple chunks, undrained |
1/3 cup vinegar |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1 medium green pepper, cute into bite-size pieces |
Directions:
1. mix together, egg, milk, bread crumbs, onion, salt and Worcestershire sauce. 2. crumble beef over mixture. 3. mix well. 4. shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. 5. in a skillet, cook meatballs until no longer pink, turning often. 6. remove and set aside. 7. drain. 8. for sauce, combine brown sugar and cornstarch in a skillet. 9. stir in pineapple with juice, vinegar and soy sauce. 10. bring to a boil, stirring constantly. 11. reduce heat. 12. cover and simmer for about 10 minutes or until sauce thickens, stirring occasionally. 13. add pepper. 14. cover and simmer until tender, about 5 minutes. 15. return neatballs to skillet and heat through. |
