Sweet and Sour Green Beans |

Found this is an old bunch of recipes I'd been hoarding. Haven't tried them yet, but they sound good. Ingredients:
2 lbs cut green beans |
2 slices bacon, cubed |
1/2 onion, chopped |
1 tablespoon sugar |
1/4 cup vinegar |
Directions:
1. In a large pot on medium heat cook beans in boiling water until crisp tender. 2. Drain beans. 3. Fry bacon until crisp and remove all but 2 tbsps of fat from the pan. 4. Add onion and saute for 5 minutes. 5. Make a thin paste of 1 tbsp flour and 1/4 cup water. 6. Add flour paste, vinegar, sugar, bacon and onions to pan and cook until thickened. 7. Pour over beans and toss. 8. Cover and heat thoroughly. |
