Sweet and Sour egg are nomally are a side dish or can be eat by itself..ENJOY !! Ingredients:
6 eggs, boiled and shelled |
3/4 cup tamarind juice |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup fish sauce |
1/4 cup of cooking oil |
10-15 shallots, sliced thinly |
2 medium size green onion cut long thin sliced |
half red bell pepper or red jalapenos if like spicy thinly sliced |
Directions:
1. Heat oil in a wok, and fry the all eggs until they are beginning to crisp and turn to yellow color. Set aside. 2. (in the same oil) fry the sliced shallots until golden brown. Set aside. 3. Use the left over oil , add palm sugar,tamarind juice and fish sauce cook for about 5 mintues then add green onion and removed from heat. 4. Transfer eggs to a serving dish. Sprinkle with the fried shallots, and pour the sauce over the eggs. |
