Ingredients:
1 egg, beaten |
1 tablespoon bacon drippings |
1/4 cup sugar |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup commercial sour cream |
Directions:
1. Combine egg and drippings in a small ceramic saucepan; beat well with a wire whisk. Place over medium heat; cook until thickened slightly, beating constantly with wire whisk. 2. Dissolve sugar in vinegar; gradually add to egg mixture. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool slightly, and fold in sour cream. |
