Sweet and Sour Dipping Sauce |

This is a great sweet and sour sauce that tastes like the kind you get from a chinese restuarant. Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cornstarch |
1 cup pineapple juice |
1/3 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup ketchup |
1/4 cup vinegar |
1/4 teaspoon mustard powder |
Directions:
1. Mix a little bit of the pineapple juice with the cornstarch to avoid lumps. 2. Combine all the ingredients in a small sauce pan and bring to a boil. 3. Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 5 minutes or until thick. |
