Sweet and Sour Crock Pot Sausage |

Siegilville Methodist Church cookbook Ingredients:
2 lbs smoked sausage |
2 (15 ounce) cans pineapple, chunks (reserve liquid) |
2 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch |
3/4 cup vinegar |
1/2 cup water plus pineapple juice |
1 tablespoon soy sauce |
1/2 teaspoon ginger |
2/3 cup sugar |
3 green peppers, cut up |
1 cup maraschino cherry, drained |
Directions:
1. Slice sausage, brown on paper towels. 2. Boil togather pineapple juice, cornstarch (mixed in vinegar), water, soy suace, ginger and sugar. 3. Cook unitl transparent. 4. Add suasage, pineapple, green pepper and cherries. Cook 5 minutes over low heat. 5. Transfer to crock pot and serve w/ picks. |
