This is an easy and tasty new way to make carrots. Mom makes this alot when we have guests, and it's always the first dish to run out. Ingredients:
3 cups sliced carrots |
4 green onions, chopped |
1/4 cup unsweetened pineapple juice |
2 tablespoons honey |
2 tablespoons butter |
1 tablespoon vinegar |
1 teaspoon cornstarch |
1 teaspoon soy sauce |
Directions:
1. Boil sliced carrots until crips-tender; drain and remove from pan. 2. In the same pan combine all other ingredients, cook over medium until bubbly. 3. Add carrots back into the pan, stir and cook until heated through. |
