Sweet and Sour Carrot Salad |

Cooking Light, MARCH 2003 Ingredients:
4 cups fresh bean sprouts |
3/4 cup shredded carrot |
1/2 cup thinly sliced green bell pepper |
1/2 cup thinly sliced red bell pepper |
1/4 cup sliced green onion |
1/4 cup chopped banana pepper |
1/2 cup white vinegar |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 tablespoon sesame oil |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1/8 teaspoon hot sauce |
1 garlic clove, crushed |
Directions:
1. Combine the first 6 ingredients in a medium bowl, tossing well. Combine the vinegar and remaining ingredients, stirring well with a whisk. 2. Pour the vinegar mixture over sprout mixture, tossing gently to coat. Cover and chill. |
