quick and easy to make, found in chinese recipe book from 1979 Ingredients:
3 tablespoons oil |
15 g butter |
1 chinese cabbage |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 1/2 tablespoons cornflour |
5 tablespoons water |
1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce |
2 1/2 tablespoons sugar |
3 1/2 tablespoons vinegar |
3 1/2 tablespoons orange juice |
2 1/2 tablespoons tomato paste |
1 1/2 tablespoons sherry wine |
Directions:
1. shred the cabbage and stir fry for 2 min with oil and butter then sprinkle with salt and simmer gently for 5 to 6 minute. 2. mix sauce ingredients and bring to boil and simmer for 4 to 5 minute. 3. transfer cabbage to serving dish and pour sauce over the cabbage and serve. |
