Ingredients:
1/2 pound beets, cleaned and boiled |
2 cups vinegar |
1 cup sugar |
3/4 teaspoon salt |
Directions:
1. Cut beets into 1/4-inch-thick slices; set aside. 2. Combine vinegar, sugar, and salt in a saucepan; bring to a boil. Add beets and cover. Reduce heat; simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat; cover and chill. |
