Ingredients:
2 cups chopped onion |
cooking spray |
3/4 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup packed brown sugar |
1/3 cup pure maple syrup |
1/4 cup cider vinegar |
1/4 cup water |
1 tablespoon dry mustard |
3 (16-ounce) cans light red kidney beans, rinsed and drained |
6 bacon slices, cooked and crumbled (drained) |
Directions:
1. Saute onion in a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat 4 minutes or until tender. 2. Place onion and remaining ingredients in a 3 1/2- to 4-quart electric slow cooker; stir well. Cover with lid; cook on low-heat setting 6 hours. |
