breakfast Ingredients:
1 large firm apple, peeled and chopped |
1 cup brown rice |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon cinnamon |
4 cups milk |
3 tablespoons honey |
1/3 cup raisins |
1 tsp. vanilla |
Directions:
1. Add water, rice and cinnamon stick to saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 10 minutes. Add the milk and bring back to a simmer. Add the honey, chopped apple, and raisins. Cover and allow to simmer for 45 minutes. You may peek and sir every 15 minutes. Remove from heat remove the cinnamon stick and add vanilla. |
