Grandma Marie's plattar pancackes from Halland, Sweden Ingredients:
6 eggs |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
3 tablespoons sugar |
1 1/2 cups flour |
2 3/4 cups milk |
butter, to fry |
canned lingonberry |
syrup |
Directions:
1. Beat six eggs to creamy. 2. Add salt, sugar, and flour. Mix. 3. Slowly add milk and stir to smooth. 4. Heat a Plattar Pan(7 pancakes holes - about 3 inches each). 5. Melt butter in each of the pancake holes. 6. Pour mix to just filling each. 7. Flip quickly for light colored (egglike) pancakes or allow a bit more time for browned. 8. Serve with lingonberries, butter and syrup. |
