A wonderful cake recipe, handed down for generations. Ingredients:
2 cups sugar |
2 eggs |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 teaspoons baking soda |
2 cups flour |
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped |
1 (20 ounce) can crushed pineapple, undrained |
8 ounces cream cheese, softened |
1/2-1 cup butter |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
1 3/4 cups powdered sugar |
1/2 cup nuts |
Directions:
1. For Cake, mix the first 7 ingredients together VERY WELL by hand. 2. Bake for 35-45 minutes at 350*. 3. Mix all Frosting ingredients together and spread on cake after it cools. |
