Great as an appetizer or as a main course over egg noodles Ingredients:
meatballs - (your favorite recipe, i.e.) |
chop meat |
parsley |
egg |
salt/pepper |
bread crumbs |
garlic |
parmesan |
sauce |
onion |
beef broth |
cream |
flour |
shot of worchester sauce |
shot of ketchup |
Directions:
1. prepare bit size meatballs 2. mince 1 medium onion and slowly brown in a little olive oil until brown (caramelized) - put aside 3. add meatballs and brown the meatballs 4. drain off majority of fat leave pan drippings stir in about 2 tbs of flour then slowly add beef broth (about 1 cup) 5. season with worchester sauce shot of ketchup. 6. simmer 10 minutes, with a fork scrape bottom of pan, season to taste 7. add meatballs to sauce and simmer for about additinal 1-2 hours. 8. add cream to serving dish, then slowly add meatball/sauce mixture (this way cream doesn't turn) |
