These are sooooo good! Kids love 'em. Ingredients:
1 cup butter |
1 cup brown sugar |
1/2 cup white sugar |
1 egg |
1 teaspoon vanilla |
2 1/4 cups flour |
1 teaspoon baking soda |
4 packages rolo chocolates (or some other caramel filled chocolates of the same size) |
1/4 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Cream butter with brown & white sugars until well mixed. 2. Add egg and vanilla. 3. Mix flour with baking soda and add to batter. 4. Take 1 tablespoon of the dough and form cup in your hand so chocolate will fit into center. 5. Shape dough to enclose chocolate; roll in sugar. 6. Place on greased baking sheet and bake 12 minutes or until cookies flatten and tops are slightly golden. (Bake at 350). 7. Cool on racks. |
