Can't even remember when or where I got this recipe but I have enjoyed it since I was little. Not a difficult recipe for kids to make but requires some supervision with the stove top cooking. Ingredients:
1 cup butterscotch chips |
1/4 cup brown sugar |
1/4 cup butter |
1 egg |
3/4 cup flour |
1 teaspoon baking powder |
1/4 teaspoon salt |
1 cup miniature marshmallow |
1/2 cup nuts, chopped |
1 teaspoon vanilla extract |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. 2. Grease an 8-inch square baking pan. 3. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt; set aside. 4. In a medium saucepan, melt butterscotch chips, brown sugar, and butter over medium heat; stirring constantly. 5. Remove from heat. 6. Add egg and vanilla extract; mix well. 7. Add flour mixture; mix well. 8. Fold in marshmallows and nuts. 9. Spread in prepared pan. 10. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes. 11. Cool on wire rack. |
