I found this recipe 24 years ago and it has become one of our top favorites for salmon. Serve it with some roasted vegetables and rice or potatoes. Use low fat cheese and sour cream for a lower fat dish. Ingredients:
4 salmon steaks |
salt and pepper |
2 tablespoons chopped onions |
1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded |
1 cup sour cream |
1 tablespoon chopped parsley |
paprika |
Directions:
1. Place salmon in greased shallow baking dish. 2. Sprinkle with salt, pepper and onions. 3. Sprinkle with cheese. 4. Spoon sour cream over salmon. 5. Sprinkle with parsley and paprika. 6. Bake 30 minutes in 350 degree oven or until salmon flakes easily. |
