Low fat/cal spaghetti sauce Ingredients:
1/3 c chopped onion |
2 t minced garlic |
1 1/3 c tomatoes, canned, crushed |
1 t tomato paste |
1 t water |
1 t honey |
1 t dried oregano |
1 t italian seasoning |
1 t extra-virgin olive oil |
1/2 t dried basil leaves |
Directions:
1. Saute' onion and garlic in pan, in olive oil. Cook stirring occasionally 3 - 5 min. Reduce to low. Add tomatoes, tom. paste, water, honey, seasonings. Stir w/ wooden spoon to mix. Simmer 5 min. for flavors to blend. |
