Yummy! It is so moist, but it is the sauce that makes this one good. My kids and husband eat it right up! Ingredients:
1 (1 1/4 ounce) envelope onion soup mix (i use liptons) |
2 lbs ground beef |
1/2 medium onion, chopped |
3/4 cup plain breadcrumbs |
2 eggs |
1/2 cup water |
1/3 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup parmesan cheese |
1 cup ketchup |
1/3 cup brown sugar |
1 tablespoon worcestershire sauce |
1/2 cup water |
3 tablespoons tomato paste |
Directions:
1. preheat oven to 350. 2. combine all meatloaf ingredients. 3. press into a greased loaf pan. 4. bake 1 hour. 5. while baking meatloaf, mix ingredients for sauce in a saucpan. 6. whisk sauce while heating over medium heat. 7. keep sauce warm. 8. in the last 15 minutes of cooking meatloaf, glaze the meatloaf with the sauce. 9. save remaining sauce to spoon onto meatloaf while serving. |
