Superior Green Bean Casserole |

A wonderful twist on the Green Bean Casserole. Perfect for the step-up of canned cream of mushroom soup Ingredients:
1 lb fresh green beans (steamed for 6-7 minutes) or canned |
1 jar creamy alfredo sauce |
1/2 lb fresh mushrooms |
1/4 c milk (lowfat okay) |
1 large can french's fried onions |
sliced almonds |
salt and penzeys fresh ground black pepper to taste |
Directions:
1. Steam and blanch green beans 2. In a 13 X 9 baking dish that has been sprayed with Pam, stir sauce 3. and milk and salt and pepper. 4. Add mushrooms and 1/2 can onions along with beans 5. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes 6. Top with onions and almonds and bake for another 5-10 minutes 7. Enjoy! |
