This is an inexpensive recipe that has satisfied my family for years. Pair it with a nice salad and crusty bread... Deelicious! Ingredients:
1 lb thin spaghetti |
2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans whole tomatoes |
8 slices bacon |
1 teaspoon salt |
1 tablespoon bacon drippings |
Directions:
1. Fry bacon until crisp, drain on paper towel and crumble. 2. In a food processor or blender pulse tomatoes until desired consistency. 3. Return the bacon to the skillet and add tomatoes and the reserved drippings and simmer 5 - 10 minutes. 4. Stir the sauce into the hot cooked spaghetti. |
