This cornbread is really, really rich and high in .....everything! A slightly sweet, very buttery and corny cornbread. The family loves it! I made this tonight to go with the fried fish my aunt cooked. Delicious! Read more ! Ingredients:
2 or 3 sticks of butter, melted |
3 eggs, beaten |
3 (8.5 ounce) packages dry corn bread mix |
1 (14.75 ounce) can creamed corn |
16 ounces of sour cream |

1 (15 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained |
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), and lightly grease a 13x9 inch baking dish (sometimes I put a tablespoon or 2 of butter into the pan and let it melt in the oven instead of greasing). 2. Combine butter, eggs, corn bread mix, whole and creamed corn and sour cream. 3. Pour mixture into prepared pan. 4. Bake for 30 to 45 minutes in the preheated oven, or until the top is golden brown. |
