The easiest fully decorated cake recipe I've ever seen. Perfect for last minute occasions!!! Mix and match flavors to your heart's and stomach's content!! Also, it might take a little longer to bake than the recipe states - possibly because of it being moist. Read more . It seems to vary from person to person. Ingredients:
1 can fruit pie filling (21 oz) |
1 box cake mix (14.25 oz) |
1 bag miniature marshmallows (about 4 cups) |
Directions:
1. Spray PAM (or equivalent) on bottom of 9x13 baking dish.
2. Spread miniature marshmallows over bottom of pan.
3. Prepare a cake mix package according to directions.
4. Pour over the marshmallows. DO NOT STIR TOGETHER.
5. Then open a can of pie filling and spoon on top of the cake mix. DO NOT STIR.
6. Put in oven to bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
7. The marshmallows will rise to the top and the pie filling will drop to the bottom.
