For an ultra-quick, super-easy, delicious, wonderful, coconut cake, this is it. This cake is delicious, and saves time in the kitchen, especially at Thanksgiving. Travels well, and the whipped cream can be added when you get there ! Read more ! Ingredients:
1 duncan hines clasic white cake mix |
1 can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk |
1 can cream of coconut |
2-3 cups sweetened whipped cream (can used cool whip) |
frozen coconut, thawed or 1 can angel flake coconut for topping |
Directions:
1. Bake cake mix as directed, using a 9 X 13 pan 2. While cake is baking, mix Eagle Brand milk and cream of coconut together in a medium bowl 3. When cake is done, remove from oven 4. While hot, poke holes in cake and pour the milk mixture over the cake very slowly, letting it soak down in the cake 5. Let cool for about 20 minutes 6. Spread whipped cream over cake 7. Sprinkle with coconut 8. Refrigerate for several hours, preferably overnight |
