Easy to find cheeses and easy to make fondue Ingredients:
4 cups processed swiss-style cheese, shredded |
1 cup american cheese, grated |
1 cup water |
1 teaspoon garlic powder |
2 cups dry white wine |
1/2 teaspoon season salt |
1 pinch nutmeg |
Directions:
1. Heat water and wine…add cheese and stir until melted. Toss cheese with a little flour to thicken. 2. Assorted dippers - cubed ham (skip for vegetarian option), blanched broccoli, carrots, or cauliflower, cherry tomatoes, chopped green bell peppers, cubed French bread peeled and chopped apples or pears. |
