While trying out recipes for old fashioned snow cream, I hit accidentally upon a delicious variation.. Ingredients:
10 -12 cups , fresh clean snow (i used an extra large mixing bowl full) |
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk |
1 -2 teaspoon vanilla |
1 cup milk |
1/2 cup sugar |
1 teaspoon vanilla, stir in additional 8-10 cups of fresh clean snow. stir until ice cream consistency |
Directions:
1. In a large mixing bowl, place clean snow. Add contents of 1 can of sweetened condensed milk. Add vanilla. Mix on low with an electric mixer until mixed together well. Turn up to medium to fluff up the cream just a little.( This is where I decided to dump in the contents of a fresh batch of snow cream made of milk, sugar, vanilla, and fresh snow.) I liked the taste and texture of the two mixed together!) Enjoy, but eat with caution: Brain Freeze is very common! |
