Super Creamy Garlicky Hummus |

I had a hankering for Hummus one night, and after searching and searching the site for a recipe that had what i had on hand...i decided to just go in my kitchen and go for it!! It is really yummy and creamy and super garlicky!!! Yummy!! I hope you give it a try and love it as much as we do!! Ingredients:
2 (16 ounce) cans garbanzo beans, drained, reserving liquid |
4 garlic cloves |
2 -3 teaspoons garlic powder |
2 -3 tablespoons olive oil |
2 -3 tablespoons lemon juice |
salt and pepper |
Directions:
1. Peel and toast garlic in a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat until brown spots appear on garlic and you can smell it. 2. In food processor or blender place garbanzo beans, 2-3 Tbsp reserved liquid, garlic, boullion (or garlic powder), olive oil, lemon juice, salt and pepper. 3. Blend till smooth. 4. Tweak to your preference. 5. Enjoy with chips, pita bread, or veggies! |
