I love mac and cheese! I created this because I had no macaroni in the house. Ingredients:
1 pkg (8.8 ounces) tri color three cheese tortellini |
2 tbsbutter |
2 tbsp flour |
2 cups milk, more or less |
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese |
1 cup mozzarella cheese |
Directions:
1. Place tortellini in boiling salted water. Cook 10 minutes. Drain and place in a 1 1/2 quart casserole dish. 2. Melt butter add flour, stirring. Add milk gradually.....to make a sauce. I like mine thick, but my husband likes his thinner. When it is to the consistency that you like, add cheese. 3. Add sauce to tortellini in casserole dish. Stir to combine. 4. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, or until bubbly. |
