I got tired of plain old fried egg sandwiches, so came up with this! If you like your egg yolks runny, might want to use a fork! Ingredients:
2 slices bread |
1 egg |
1 tablespoon orange marmalade |
1 tablespoon butter |
Directions:
1. Toast the bread in toaster. 2. In a nonstick skillet over medium-low heat, melt the butter. 3. Carefully break egg into the skillet. 4. Fry egg to desired doneness (I like over-easy). 5. Spread marmalade over slices of toast. 6. Place one slice bread, marmalade side up, on a dish. 7. Add the egg. 8. Place second slice of bread over the egg, marmalade side down. |
