A recipe from that I have altered for my allergies. This dressing is low in fat and calories and has a lovely, sunset-rose color. Makes about one cup. Refrigeration time not included. Ingredients:
1/2 cup 2% buttermilk |
1/4 cup mayonnaise |
1/4 cup greek yogurt |
1/4 cup tomato juice |
1 tablespoon onion, grated |
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano |
1/4 teaspoon dried basil |
1/4 teaspoon paprika |
1 garlic clove, crushed (or 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder ) |
Directions:
1. Combine ingredients in a small bowl and whisk together. 2. Refrigerate about 2 hours to allow flavors to combine. |
