This receipt is GREAT - everyone always loves it, including myself! To add variation you can include 2 cups of breakfast meats, you can try your choice of chopped ham, sausage, candian bacon, regular bacon or all of the above - enjoy! Read more ! Ingredients:
12 eggs |
1/4 cup flour |
1 tsp. baking powder |
1 16 oz bag monterey shredded cheese (may use 8oz of 2 different cheeses) |
(you may use any variety you like, cracker barrel extra sharp is great in this receipe or mix a few flavors!) |
2 cups small curd cottage cheese |
1 stick melted butter |
Directions:
1. Beat all eggs 2. Slowly add in Flour (to avoid lumping) & baking powder 3. Stir in Cheese & melted butter 4. Mix it all together very well 5. Pour into a greased 13x9 dish or use indivual custard cups (muffin tins work great as well for a well portioned individual serving). 6. Bake for about 35 minutes until the cheese is golden brown (center may still jiggle, but this may be ok) Use a knife to check consistency in the center. |
