Sunny's Thick O.G. Snap Shake! (Sunny Anderson)

Ingredients:
1 cup water
2 cups sugar
1 -inches ginger, peeled and sliced
1/2 cinnamon stick
1/2 teaspoon allspice
6 -ounces frozen orange juice
4 1/2 teaspoons molasses
3 cups vanilla ice cream
1/2 cup milk
Directions:
1. In a small pot add the water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon and allspice. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring to dissolve the sugar, then lower the heat and simmer until slightly thickened. Remove from heat and strain into a bowl. Refrigerate the syrup until cool. Pour the syrup into a blender and add the frozen orange juice, molasses, ice cream and milk. Blend until smooth and serve.
