I haven't tried this yet. I will soon. The recipe is from Haute Thai - Everyday Dishes - Eating Thai Style. This is a community cookbook put together by members of Heritage of Thailand, a Houston area organization. Ingredients:
1 cup egg |
1 cup thick coconut cream |
1 cup sugar |
Directions:
1. Combine all the ingredients in a blender. Blend on medium speed for just a half minute, or until the mixture is smooth. Pour into a bowl or other container you can use in a steamer. 2. Heat a steamer until the water in steamer is boiling. Set container on steamer basket which rests inside the steamer pan above the boiling water. Cover and steam for about 30 - 45 minutes until the custard is set. 3. Remove from heat and serve warm. |
