I developed this recipe during a raw foods experiment (trying to eat raw for five days). It was the most filling and satisfying breakfast I had that week, and I loved the sweet-but-not-too-sweet flavor. Ingredients:
1 cup filtered water (cold) |
1 tablespoon sunflower seed butter (raw) |
1 banana, frozen |
1/2 cup fresh cherries, pitted |
1/2 cup frozen mixed berries |
Directions:
1. Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Taste, and adjust amounts. Feel free to add a little honey or agave nectar if more sweetness is desired. |
