I used to serve these crackers with my recipe for Pork Rillets (Appitizer). I originally got the recipe from Best of Bridge Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups flour |
1 cup rolled oats |
2 tablespoons sunflower seeds, unsalted |
1 1/2 cups sugar |
2 teaspoons baking powder |
1/2 teaspoon salt |
1/2 cup butter, melted |
1/3 cup milk |
1 egg, beated |
Directions:
1. In a bowl, combine the flour, rolled oats, sunflower seeds, sugar, baking powder and the salt. 2. In a measuring cup, combine the melted butter, milk and the egg. 3. Combine the dry ingredients into the wet forming a soft dough. 4. Transfer the dough to a floured surface and lightly flour the top of the dough. 5. With a rolling pin, roll out to 1/8 thickness. With cookie cutter, cut rounds. 6. Bake in a 400 oven for 10 - 15 minutes. |
