Beth Hensperger; 1 1/2 lb. loaf Ingredients:
1/2 cup water |
5/8 cup buttermilk |
1 large egg |
1 1/2 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces |
2 tablespoons honey |
1 tablespoon molasses |
2 1/2 cups bread flour |
1/2 cup rolled oats |
1/2 cup whole wheat flour |
1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds |
1 tablespoon gluten |
1 1/2 teaspoons salt |
2 teaspoons fast rising yeast (or 2 1/2 t. bread machine yeast) |
Directions:
1. Add all ingredients to the bread pan according to the order in the manufacturer's instructions. 2. Set crust on medium and program for the Basic cycle; press Start. 3. When the baking cycle is complete, immediately remove the bread from the pan and place it on a rack. 4. Let cool to room temperature before slicing. |
