Quick and easy. This salad will give some zip to a simple table. Especially delicious with grilled chicken and meats. Ingredients:
1 package shredded green cabbage or may shred your own |
1/2 cup slivered almonds |
1 cup sunflower seeds |
1 package oriental ramen noodles, crumbled with seasoning packet. |
1 small onion, minced |
dressing |
1/2 cup sugar |
1/3 cup vinegar |
1/4 cup oil |
red pepper flakes to taste, optional |
Directions:
1. Combine cabbage and other ingredients in large bowl 2. DRESSING 3. Combine sugar, vinegar, oil in bowl, whisk 4. Add to the salad ingredients 5. Toss and mix well 6. Refrigerate over night |
